Howard Edward Reynolds, of Hwy 25W, Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at his home. He was 85 years, 4 months and 25 days of age. He was born on Dec. 20, 1927 in Whitley County, to the late James Reynolds and Stella Broyles Reynolds. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Lee Reynolds; his sisters, Marie Chitwood, Jenida Evans, Helen Rickett and Naomi Jones; one brother, Paul Reynolds; and granddaughter, Sherry Lee Reynolds. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Korea.
He is survived by two sons, Howard D. Reynolds, of Cleveland, Ohio, and James M. Reynolds, of Uniontown, Pa.; two daughters, Rita Hollis, of Lexington, Ala., and Sylvia Wilder, of London; and a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerome McCullah officiating. He will be laid to rest in Croley Addition of the Highland Park Cemetery.
A military graveside service will be conducted by the American Legion Post No. 88 of Corbin.
