David Trosper

CORBIN — David Gene Trosper, age 65, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013, at his residence.

Born in Whitley County, he was the son of the late William A. Trosper and Ethel Mullins Trosper. He had been a member of Lynn Camp Baptist Church, a West Knox Volunteer Fireman, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for National Standard for 28 years.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Eagle Trosper; son, Shannon David Trosper; daughter, Trina-Ann Ashley Trosper; and numerous friends, including Kenny Lee, Jack Godsey, Earl Tye, Earl Snyder, Kenny and Bobby Henderson, and Henry “Duke” Williams.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 16th, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service. A private graveside service will be held.
