Rickey Lynn Bowman, of Ellison Bend, Williamsburg, departed this life on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was 57 years, 10 months, and 10 days of age. He was born on June 27, 1955 in Campbell County, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Bowman and daughter, Traci Nicole Bowman.

He was the owner of Rick’s Heating and Air for over 30 years and also a member of the Mt. Ash Baptist Church for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lita Michelle Bowman, of Williamsburg; five daughters, Connie Bennett (Jamie), Tammi Bird (Wayne), Toni Lynn Golden (John), Kristen Bowman and Shelby Bowman, all of Williamsburg; one son, Tyler Scott Bowman, of Williamsburg; six grandchildren, Hayden Cain, Tanner Hamilton, Braden Bird, Kaden Bird, Macy Golden and Jonathan Leach; mother and stepfather, Juanita and JR Hill, both of Williamsburg; three brothers, Steve Bowman (Margaret), Allen Bowman (Sandy) and Lonnie Bowman (Judy), all of Williamsburg; one sister, Donna Rowe (Tom), of Williamsburg; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating.

Following a 10 a.m. graveside service he will be laid to rest in the Lawson Family Cemetery on Ellison Bend.
