Arthur “Junior” O’Dell, of Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, May 3, 2013, at Baptist Health hospital in Corbin. He was 72 years, 8 months and 10 days of age. He was born on August 23, 1940, in Tellico Plains, Tenn., to the late John O’Dell and Jane (Akins) O’Dell.  He was also preceded in death by one son, Paul O’Dell; four brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife of more than 43 years, Clearencie O’Dell, of Williamsburg; four daughters, Vickie Marshall (Michael), of Greenback, Tenn., Beth Brimm (Joe), of Louisville, Tenn., and Brenda O’Dell and Kimberly O’Dell, both of Williamsburg; one son, Mitchell O’Dell (Michele), of Aurora, Colo.; 11 grandchildren, Phillip, Michael, James, Chastidy, Christopher, Alexandra, Aidan, Christina, Andria, Brian  and Robert; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Millie Jane Presley, of Ball Play, Tenn., and Norma Lou Bivens, of Tellico Plains, Tenn.; two brothers, Oscar O’Dell, of Tellico Plains, Tenn., and James Earl O’Dell, of Dalton, Ga., several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today (Monday, May 6, 2013) at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Caddell officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Maple Creek Cemetery.
