Ada Elliott, 93, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013. She was a member of North Corbin Holiness Church.
Born Jan. 4, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Sarah Raleigh. In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Elliott; a son, Robert Elliott; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son, Max Elliott and wife Linda, of McDonough, Ga.; two daughters: Elizabeth Wolfe, of Corbin, and Ruth Storms and husband Edward, of Mansfield, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Casper Raleigh and wife Betty, of New Haven, Ind., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in McFarland Cemetery with Elliott Stephens, Adam Michael Crate, Zachary Bergman, Vincent Storms, Richie Storms, Steven Storms and Justin Storms serving as pallbearers.
The family of Ada Elliott will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday (today) at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
