Kenneth Strunk

CORBIN —

Mr. Kenneth Strunk, age 80, of Floyd Croley Road Williamsburg,  passed away Saturday Nov. 24, 2012, at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.

He worked for the Kerns Bakery Co. for 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Sarah Jones Strunk.

He is survived by his wife: Carrie Rains Strunk of Williamsburg, one  daughter, Teresa Lambdin and husband Jimmy, of Williamsburg; two  grandchildren, Natasha Mansberry and husband Shannon, of Williamsburg, and Nicholas Lambdin, of Williamsburg; stepmother Irene Strunk, of Barbourville, a stepbrother, Wayne Holder, of Barbourville; a brother-in-law, Sonny Rains and wife Linnea and  sister-in-law Martha Burke, all of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 26, 2012) at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Long and Rev. Jerry Sester officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until  the funeral hour today (Monday) at the funeral home.

Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at the New Mount Zion Cemetery.

The Ellison Funeral Home of Williamsburg is in charge of these arrangements.
