Douglas Young

CORBIN — Douglas Crayton Young, 53, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born in London on Dec. 30, 1959, to the late Kenneth R. Young  and Dessie Angel Neeley. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and member of the Steele Chapel Christian Church.

Survivors include his mother Dessie Neeley and husband Harold, of Corbin, one  son: Tanner Young, of Ashland, two brothers: David Young and wife Connie, of Corbin, Dewain Neeley, of Lexington, two nieces: Lindsey and Sydney Neeley, of Corbin,  nephew Derrick Young and wife Tara, and one great-niece Dazlyn Young all of Corbin.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Cheyenne Metcalf officiating with burial in the Worley Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Saturday at the O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home.

O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
