Anna Cox

CORBIN — Anna “Annie” Cox, our beloved mother, departed this life Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at her home with her family around her as was her wish.

She has gone on to Heaven to be with her daughter, Shannon, her parents Mildred and Emerson Jones, and other loved ones.

Born in Corbin May 3, 1941, she lived to be 72 years, 4 months, and 12 days of age.

Her survivors include her devoted children: Christopher Clayton Cox and Trisha Cox Smith and husband Terry; grandchildren: Amber Leigh Wynn, Christon Joeman Cox, Samson Earlman Cox, and Alex Smith; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol Ward and husband Zeb, of Corbin; and one brother, Dallas E. Jones, of Indiana.

She leaves behind several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends, all to mourn her passing.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Corinth Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master St.
