Anna Elizabeth O’Neil Johnson, age 92, of Corbin, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at her home.
She was born April 29, 1921, to the late Clarence Gayle (C.G.) and Mable Tharp O’Neil in Carrollton.
She was a member of the 17th Street Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband William R. (Bill) Johnson.
She is survived by a brother, Gayle W. O’Neil and wife MaryAnn, of Corbin; two nieces, Gail Lindsay O’Neil, of Corbin, and Barbara Ann O’ Neil, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two nephews, Robert Wilson and wife Michele, of Lexington, and Casey Wilson, of Phoenix, Ariz.; great-great nieces, Aaron Wilson, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Avery Wilson, of Lexington; one nephew, Parker Wilson, of Lexington; three special caregivers, Pat Tubbs, Yevonne Paddock and Darlene Gregory; special friend, Rodney Combs; and a host of friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home.
