Larry Evans

CORBIN — Mr. Larry Paul Evans, age 68, of Corbin, formerly of Barbourville, was born in Knox County, on May 16, 1945, to the late Walter and Cindy Carroll Evans and departed this life on Friday, July 12, 2013. at Baptist Health Corbin. He was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed hanging out at Spur Oil and visiting with people.

In addition to his parents, three brothers: Claude Evans, Ernie Evans and Kenneth Evans preceded him in death.

He was survived by six brothers: Gary Evans and Pete Evans, both of Barbourville, Richard Evans, of Rockdale, Texas, Rick Evans and wife Jessica, of Corbin, Tony Evans, of Mason, Mich., and Edward Brady Evans and wife Mary Lou, of Holt, Mich.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Evans will be conducted on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Reed Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodin Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Monday evening from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m.
