Cheryl Baker

CORBIN — Mrs. Cheryl Diane West Baker, age 61, of Barbourville, was born in Greenwood, Ind. on Nov. 11, 1951, to the late J.C. and Ramona Sims West, and departed this life on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Baptist Health Corbin. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed singing, writing songs, playing the keyboard, cooking and time with her family.

Her parents, J.C. and Ramona West, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving children: Jeremy Bullock, Darrin Bullock, Deborah Saunders and husband Robert, Regina Brown and husband Jonathan, and Kayla Bullock, all of Barbourville, and Ladina Brown, of Corbin; three brothers: Larry West and wife Barbara, Donnie West, of Indiana, and Keith West and wife Kelly, of Arizona; two sisters: Annetta Thomas and husband Buck and Christinia Stewart and husband Jerry, all of Liberty; 16 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cheryl Baker will be conducted on Monday, July 15, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the Rivers of Living Waters Church in Cannon with the Rev. Wayne Holder officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick with family and friends serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the funeral home to aid in the expenses. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends may call at the Rivers of Living Waters Church Sunday evening from 6-9 p.m., and Monday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m.
