Robert Young


Robert Louis “Bob” Young, of the Nevisdale Community, Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at his home. He was 73 years, 9 months and 1 day of age. He was born on May 14, 1939, in Whitley County, to the late Russ Young and Nannie Siler Young. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Young.

He is survived by three sisters, Dora Hamby, of Williamsburg, Bertha Suttles (Chalmer), of Ellora, S.C., and Rosa Branscum, of Dear Park, Ohio; three brothers, Charlie Young (Dorothy), of Williamsburg, James Young (Maggie), of Maineville, Ohio, and John Young (Shirley), of Cincinnati, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; a great-nephew, Gavin Young, of Williamsburg; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Jones Cemetery on Roses Creek.
