Mary Alene Fuston, of Savoy Depot Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was 77 years, 9 months, and 29 days of age. She was born on April 1, 1935, in Whitley County, to the late Luther Rowe and Matilda Rose Rowe. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Fuston; and her children, Frankie Fuston and Patsy Studdard. She was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Lighthouse Church.
She is survived by 12 children, Rick Fuston (Cindy), of Chino, Calif., Brenda Bryant, of Tennessee, Karen Jones (Bill), of Waco, Steven Fuston (Melanie), of Tennessee, Tina Nichols (Mike), of Rockholds, Danny Fuston (Deanna), of London, Randy Fuston, Roger Fuston, Richard Edward Fuston, Nellie Cooper, Tammy Mills, and Scott Fuston (Rachel), all of Williamsburg; 37 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Helen Waddle, of California and Jewelene McCullah, (R.L.) of Williamsburg; four brothers, Billy Rowe (Kathy), of Williamsburg, Paul Rowe (Dee), of the Jellico Creek Community, and Roy Rowe (Mary Jo) and David Rowe (Carolyn), all of Kensee Hollow; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Roark officiating.
