Geneva Ksiazek

CORBIN —

Mrs. Geneva (Harris) Ksiazek, age 92, of Warren, Mich. and formerly of Corbin, passed away on Monday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the Henry Ford Hospital in Sterling Heights, Mich.

Geneva entered into this life on Nov. 9, 1920, the daughter of Oscar and Phoebe Harris, both of whom preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Edward Ksiazek, and they shared a wonderful life together. She was a homemaker, spending her days loving and caring for her family; and was of the Baptist faith.

Geneva will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dan O. Sullivan, of Warren, Mich., Gloria Hayward (Dennis), of Warren, Mich., and Jerry Ksiazek (Marie), of Bloomingdale, Ohio; seven grandchildren, April, Brad, Chad, Tyler, Samantha, Scott and Vicki; six great-grandchildren, Addison, Gracie, Jackson, Gunner, Garrett and Caleb; her brother, Rufus Harris, of Louisville; her sister, Ruth Dillion, of Corbin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ksiazek.

Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Ksiazek will be conducted on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at noon at the Corbin Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Lockhart officiating. Interment will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

Visitation for Mrs. Geneva Ksiazek will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Corbin Funeral Home.
