Doris Cummins

CORBIN — Doris June Cummins, 82, of Beecher Lane, Orange Park, Fla., and formerly of Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, while at home surrounded by her family.  She was born on July 9, 1931, in Tackett Creek, Tennessee to the late Marion Hudson and Maggie Small Hudson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Willard, Bill, Carl and Bruce Hudson; two sisters, Thelma Johnson and Lois Moss; and a great-grandson, David Cole Ritchey.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Paul Cummins, of Orange Park, Fla.; one son, Roger (Sharon) Cummins, of Orange Park, Fla.; two daughters, Sharon (Mike) Wyatt, of Fleming Island, Fla., and Patty (Calvin) Fugate, of London; four grandchildren, Michael Paul Wyatt, of Fleming Island, Fla., Nicole (Terry) Ritchey, of London, Lori (Marcus) Fox, of Corbin,  and Paula (Nate) Wolf, of California, Md.; five great-grandchildren,  Michael Vaughan Wyatt, Sarah Lynn Fox, Emma June Fox, Rhea Alexis Wolf and Zane Nathan Wolf; five brothers, Jim, Richard, Gary, Glenn and Bobby Hudson; one sister, Beulah Brewer; a host of nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt June; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m.  Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Hudson officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Croley Addition of Highland Park Cemetery in Williamsburg. Mike Wyatt, Calvin Fugate, Michael Paul Wyatt, Marcus Fox, Nate Wolf and Terry Ritchey will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Michael Vaughan Wyatt.
