Stevie Murray, of Williamsburg, departed this life on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his home. He was 52 years, 10 months, and 12 days of age. He was born on Dec. 23, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his mother, Flossie Murray. He was a member of the Mt. Ash Church of God.

He is survived by one daughter, Melissa April Hamblin (Larry), of Owenton; one son, Steven Joseph Murray (Megan), of Williamsburg; three grandchildren, Megan Hamblin, Tyler Hamblin, and Morgan Murray; his father, James Murray of Williamsburg; five brothers, Eugene Murray (Rainey), of the Saxton Community, Gary Murray (Sue), of the Tackett Creek Community, Robert Murray, of Williamsburg, Ed Murray, of Williamsburg, and David Murray of the Mt. Ash Community; three sisters, Barb Jones (Don) and Marlene Murray, all of the Mt. Ash Community, and Linda Richardson, of Williamsburg; special nephew, Mike Murray; many other nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ulys Cox officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Reed Cemetery in Mt. Ash Community.
