Timothy Lee Meadors, of Highway 1481, Williamsburg, departed this life on Monday, March 25, 2013, at his home. He was 68 years, 10 months and 2 days of age. He was born on May 23, 1944, in Whitley County, to the late Clyde Meadors and Artie Sullivan Meadors. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Ora Meadors; sister, Evelyne Bryant; and stepmother, Florence Meadors. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Della Perkins Meadors, of Williamsburg; two daughters, Tammy Meadors (Ken), of Dalton, Ga., and Brenda Partin, of Williamsburg; one son, Jimmy Meadors, of Jellico, Tenn.; four stepchildren, Leslie Jones (Charity), of Williamstown, Michael Jones (Leigh Ann), of Kirkwood, Mo., Pamela Wilder (Charles), of Corbin, and Melinda Johnson, of Williamsburg; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Kelly Meadors (Jean), of Williamsburg; three sisters, Mary Bell Askins, Letta Vanover and Marsella Meadors (Clyde), all of Williamsburg; several nieces, nephews and a host of many other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Meadors and the Rev. Bill Meadors officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
