Gladys Anders

CORBIN — Gladys Polly Anders, age 99, of Keavy, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at Laurel Heights in London.

She was a member of Locust Grove Christian Church.

Her fondness for her cats and dogs remained with her throughout life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Amy Della Floyd Polly; her husband, Omar Anders; two children: Karen Faye and Jerry Ray; and one grandson, Jeff Brittain.

Survivors include her children: June Brittain and husband Bill, of Hopkins, S.C., Rawleigh Anders and wife Helen, of Keavy, and James Anders and wife Pam, of Brooksville, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She leaves behind other family members and numerous friends, all to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Gladys will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rob Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street, Corbin. Online condolences may be made at www.hartfhcorbin.com.
