Bill Scarborough Jr.

CORBIN — Bill Scarborough Jr., of Old Corbin Pike, Williamsburg, departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, in Williamsburg. He was 63 years, 10 months and 14 days of age. He was born on March 11, 1950, in Jellico, Tenn., to the late William Cleveland Scarborough Sr. and Annie Gipson Scarborough.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four sisters, Louise Young, Debbie Scarborough, Shirley Scarborough and Barbara Culver; and a brother, Warren Cecil Scarborough.

He was a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church.

He is survived by six sisters, Doris White (Jimmy), of Lexington, Martha Hoskins (Joey), of Deary, Idaho, Linda Tabor (Harold), of Lexington, Mary Etta Hobbs, of Williamsburg, Laura Kathenne Taylor (Larry), of LaFayette, Ga., and Vickie Fuston, of Williamsburg; two brothers, David Leonard Scarborough (Margie) and Jimmy John Scarborough (Shannon), of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, He will lie in state at Watson Chapel Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at the Watson Chapel Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest in the Watson Chapel Cemetery in Williamsburg.
