Brenda Love

CORBIN — Brenda Sue Love, of Corbin, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at The Heritage Nursing Home, Corbin. She was born Oct. 11, 1951, in Whitley County, to the late Clint and Edna Smith. She was 62 years, 2 months, and 25 days of age.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Love, daughter, Patricia Lee Love, stepmother, Mary Smith, and a sister-in-law, Rhonda Young.

She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church, Corbin.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Love and wife Cynthia, of Gray, and Randy Love and wife Monica, of Corbin; three grandchildren, Angel Love, Allison Love and Connor Love; three sisters: Patty Eaton, of Williamsburg, Lois Jean Lovitt, of Williamsburg, and Darlene Faulkner, of Clarksville, Ga.; one brother, Clint Smith Jr., of Williamsburg; two half-sisters: Sue Cornelius, of Williamsburg, and Joyce Hall, of Richmond; sister-in-law, Linda Petrey, of Corbin, and a brother-in-law, Ronald Love, of Corbin.

She also leaves several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Lenny Strunk officiating. Burial will follow in the Steely Cemetery at Red Bird.
