Pauline Perkins, 81, of Keavy and formerly of Williamsburg, entered eternal life on April 17, 2013. She was the daughter of George and Lillie (McKinney) Harrison.
She married Albert Wilson Perkins and they shared 65 years together. Pauline enjoyed her career as a nurse, retiring from Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Monroe, Mich., in 1994.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by their eight children: Lana (Steve) Chaffee, of Green Valley, Ariz.; Nancy (Richard) Wood, of Brighton, Mich.; Dr. Alvin (Mary), of Somerset; Patricia (Rodney) Simpson, of Green Valley, Ariz.; Jerry (Maxine), of Jamestown; Dr. Richard (Carla), of Jamestown; Phillip (Julie), of Temperance, Mich.; and Yolanda (Greg) Libstorff, also of Temperance, Mich.
She was the beloved grandmother to 14 grandchildren: Jennifer, Julie, Sarah, Laurie, Christina, Jonathan, Candice, Chelsea, Joshua, Samantha, Amanda, Zachary, Ryan, and Alexa. She was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren.
Pauline was also survived by two sisters: Geneva Logan and Sue Buhl, and two brothers: Burlie and Eugene Harrison.
Before her illness, Pauline made beautiful quilts, read numerous books, traveled, and loved game shows.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Bula Logan and two brothers: Mac and Paul Harrison.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Perkins officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Perkins Addition of the Wofford Cemetery.
