CORBIN — Sickness shuts down three schools

Depending on which school district your child attends, the recent bout of illness has shut down some systems in the Tri-County region for some of this week, while others remain open.

A time for ‘Rebuilding Hope’ in Laurel County

For those who had loved ones who perished from the fury of a Friday night tornado, who answered the call to save and rescue those injured in the debris, or who unselfishly helped to rebuild a shattered community, March 2, 2012 will always be remembered.

Two active meth labs discovered in Knox, arrests made

Knox County Sheriff John Pickard and Deputy Claude Hudson went to the home of Flat Lick resident Virgil Mills, 38, Tuesday to serve a felony warrant.
