CORBIN — Woman struck by car driven by another woman
A woman was taken to the hospital for treatment after she was reportedly struck by a car driven by another woman with whom she had argued, according to the Laurel County Sheriff John Root.
The driver had gone to the home to pick up her children and, when she walked back to her car she was followed by another woman from the house. As the driver tried to leave, she reportedly struck the other woman, who was taken to Baptist Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released. While at the hospital, the woman reportedly made a threatening call to the driver.
Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter was sent to the home, which is located along Terrill Road, about 11 miles south of London. Deputy Robbie Grimes also responded.
The case remains under investigation.
