A motorcycle crashed on KY 92 East Monday afternoon.
According to Whitley County Sheriff’s Deputy Todd Shelley, Larry Simpson, 68, of Concord, N.C., was traveling west on a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle with two other motorcyclists when he lost control on a curve. Shelley said Simpson crossed the eastbound lane and went over an embankment.
Simpson was not seriously injured; according to Shelley he had a case of “road rash.” Shelley said Simpson was alert and could walk and talk at the scene of the crash, and added that Shelley planned to be privately transported to Baptist Health Corbin.
Assisting at the scene was Patterson Creek Fire Department.
