The final 2013 meeting of the Southern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce was held Tuesday — and it was announced that the five open board seats were officially filled.
During the November meeting, Executive Director Bruce Carpenter announced there were five open board seats and that nominees to those seats were listed.
Those voted onto the board were Jackie Willis, an incumbent member, who is with the Forcht Group; Larry Gray, CEO of Baptist Health Corbin; Paul Matney, with TECO Coal; Suzie Razmus, city commissioner and with Tri-County Cineplex; and News Journal employee Trent Knuckles.
Ten people had been nominated for the five seats. Those names were included on ballots available online, Carpenter explained in November.
Two new businesses were welcomed into the Chamber family, including the new Dairy Queen in Williamsburg.
The next meeting of the Chamber is slated for 11:45 a.m. Jan. 14.
