CORBIN — Londoner promoted to probation and parole post

A London man has been promoted to assistant supervisor in Probation and Parole District 10, an area that covers seven counties including Knox and Laurel, according to an announcement from Division of Probation and Parole Director Tim Carman.

Bloody burglar runs, scuffles with state police

A Corbin man who was bloodied by an injury he suffered when he broke into a Whitley County market was arrested early Thursday, according to Kentucky State Police Post 11-London Public Affairs Officer TFC Don Trosper.

Corbin man arrested for being under influence

A Corbin man was arrested Wednesday after he was found under the influence and carrying prescription pills for which he had no prescription, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.

Sex offender arrested

A sex offender who failed to register when he moved to London led police on a foot pursuit Wednesday, according to London Police Chief Stewart Walker.

Chandler talks Medicare with senior citizens
