According to Laurel County Sheriff John Root, Billy Coffee, 43, was robbed by two white males who were armed with a gun and a knife. The robbers made a forcible entry into Coffee’s home, stole an undisclosed amount of money from his wallet, and then left on foot.
Coffee chased the two robbers toward American Greeting Card Road, before he lost sight of them.
Root said the two men were wearing hoodies, with one blue and the other one dark-colored.
