Alexis Morris, 18, had made an alleged agreement with a man involving sex for money, and then the two had a disagreement resulting in a sexual assault complaint.

Man arrested following domestic complaint

A London man was arrested Sunday following a complaint of domestic violence involving an intoxicated man, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.

Adam Rascon, 31, allegedly got into a woman’s uninsured gold Chrysler Pacifica and fled the residence while extremely intoxicated. When deputies arrived, the woman informed them Rascon had drank a fifth of liquor and smoked marijuana, Root said.

Deputies Mikey Ashurst and Shawn Boroviak left the residence in an attempt to locate Rascon. While attempting to locate the vehicle Rascon was reportedly driving, they were advised he had returned to the residence and was allegedly yelling and creating a disturbance. When deputies returned to the scene, Rascon fled on foot and hid under the porch of a nearby residence.

Following a short scuffle with deputies, Rascon was arrested. While being escorted to a waiting police cruiser, Rascon reportedly yelled and screamed and cursed deputies, creating a disturbance.

Rascon was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, second-degree disorderly conduct, menacing, resisting arrest, failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, and second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot. Rascon was jailed in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
