A mobile home near 925 Laurel Lake Road caught fire Monday, according to Keavy Fire Chief Richard Bales.
An unoccupied trailer, whose owner is unknown according to Bales, went up in flames. Bales said the Keavy Volunteer Fire Department sent two truck and seven firefighters to battle the blaze at 10:25 a.m. The fire was out in about half an hour. According to Bales, there were no injuries, but the inside of a bedroom was completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, Bales said.
