Corbin 4th of July celebration canceled tonight

Fireworks rescheduled for Saturday, block party set for later date

Corbin's 4th of July celebration scheduled for this afternoon and tonight has been canceled due to the increased threat of inclement weather.

The fireworks display, sponsored by the Corbin Tourism Commission, has been rescheduled for this Saturday (July 6) at sunset. The fireworks will be shot atop the hill where the Corbin Arena is located.

The Independence Day Block Party at Nibroc Park, sponsored by Downtown Corbin, which includes the Texaco Country Showdown, sponsored by KD Country 99.5 FM, will be rescheduled at a later date.
