A London man was arrested on Sunday night on multiple charges after Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an altercation complaint.
Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Mikey Ashurst along with Deputy Larry Parrott were dispatched to a complaint of an altercation involving a man shooting a gun on Ravenwood Lane, about 11:26 p.m., according to a sheriff’s report.
When deputies arrived at the residence, they located Floyd A. Hammond, 23 of London. He was intoxicated an intoxicated and deputies also observed drug paraphernalia nearby, the report said. A small marijuana plant was located inside the residence, and a three-foot-tall plant was also found growing outside, near the residence. Hammond was arrested and charged with public intoxication, possession of marijuana, cultivating marijuana five plants or less, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Laurel County Detention Facility.
