Times-Tribune Staff Report
A London man was arrested Friday morning after being involved in a domestic dispute.
Michael Grubb, 34, of Cloud Lane, London, was charged with violating a Kentucky Emergency Protective Order/Domestic Violence Order (EPO/DVO), and fourth-degree assault. He’s jailed in the Laurel County Detention Facility in London.
The arrest happened around 2:17 a.m. at Saint Joseph London, where police located a suspect who had been involved in a domestic dispute earlier on Cloud Lane.
When Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a domestic dispute on Cloud Lane, they learned from a female suspect there that a male suspect had pushed her to the ground and held her to the floor while making threats of taking their child to Florida where she would never see the child again.
As the deputies continued their investigation, they learned there was an active EPO between the two parties, stating that Michael Grubb shall not commit any further acts of violence to the petitioner.
Sheriff’s Deputy Tyler Morris and Sgt. Bret Reeves made the arrest.
