Corbin woman arrested on several charges

CORBIN — Times-Tribune Staff Report

A Corbin woman was arrested Monday after deputies responded to a dispute between the woman and her mother, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.

Kendra B. Carver, 22, was arrested about 11:51 p.m. after a complaint was made about a domestic violence disturbance.

Deputies Josh Scott and Mikey Ashurst responded to the home, located about 10 miles south of London. When they arrived at the home, they found Carver on a front porch. She appeared to be intoxicated, so Root said deputies tried to arrest her. During the arrest, Carver struggled with deputies and screamed.

Carver was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and third-degree assault of a police officer. She was jailed in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
