Man airlifted after exit 25 crash

CORBIN — By LeeAnn Cain, Staff Writer

A Somerset man was airlifted to a hospital following a crash on the I-75 exit 25 off-ramp Wednesday night.

Mark West, 54 of Somerset, allegedly ran off the road in his black Chevrolet Colorado and swerved back onto the road, striking a tractor-trailer driven by Glenn Jenkins, 33, of Alabama, according to Corbin Police Officer Ken Proffitt.

West was airlifted by AirEvac to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Also at the scene were Corbin Fire Department and Whitley County EMS.
