London man arrested for drug distribution
A London man was arrested Thursday on a federal arrest warrant related to drug distribution, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.
Brandon Bustle, 26, was arrested about 2 p.m. on a charge of conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.
The arrest was made by Detective/U.S. Marshal Warrant Task Force Officer Jason Back along with Detective Brad Mitchell and federal agents from the London office of the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Bustle was jailed in the Laurel County Corrections Center.
Children removed from home
Three Londoners were arrested Wednesday and two children were removed by social services after officers found items needed to manufacture methamphetamine at a home, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.
Alex Hoskins, 47, Brian K. Lewis, 33, and Jeanie S. Lewis, 28, were arrested and each was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
After 5 p.m., Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter and deputies Greg Turner, Robbie Grimes and Steve Hoskins received a tip about meth being manufactured at a home located five miles west of London. When they arrived at the home, they found numerous items used to make the drug.
The three suspects were jailed in the Laurel County Corrections Center.
Man arrested for violating DVO
A London man was arrested Wednesday for violating a domestic violence order, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.
Jonathan K. Collins, 34, was arrested after Senior Sgt Greg Poynter and Deputy Robbie Grimes found him sitting in his wife’s driveway.
Collins told officers he was there to get his mail. His wife told officers Collins had threatened to kill her.
Collins was charged with violation of a Kentucky DVO. He was jailed in the Laurel County Corrections Center.
