A man facing several charges involving multiple burglaries and multiple defendants was sentenced for some of those crimes — and indicted for more.
George McAdams, 25, of Barbourville, was sentenced for three separate cases in Knox County Circuit Court Friday — and received 11 years in jail.
In one case, he was convicted of second-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking.
In the second case, he was convicted of two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of theft by unlawful taking and one count of third-degree criminal mischief.
The third case convicts him of another count of second-degree burglary and theft by deception, including cold checks under $10,000.
Also on Friday, McAdams was again indicted with another defendant, 22-year-old Krystal Shields, of Barbourville.
Shields is also a co-defendant in other burglary cases.
In this latest indictment, the first count indicts the pair for second-degree burglary for allegedly entering the residence of Danny Daniels Oct. 28, 2012 with the intent to commit a crime. The second count charges them both with theft by unlawful taking property valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000 after allegedly stealing a television and jewelry from the Daniels’ residence on that date.
