CORBIN — Woman arrested after alleged fight
A Williamsburg woman with multiple warrants was arrested by Whitley County Sheriff’s K9 Deputy Kirk Mays and Deputy Bo Harris Sunday.
Deputies received a call about a male and female fighting at a residence on KY 26.
Deputies arrived and immediately checked for warrants on the two suspects.
Jackie A. Johnson, 54, of Rockholds, was arrested on three outstanding non payment of fines bench warrants. A search of Johnson allegedly revolved 7 oxycodone pills in her pocket.
Johnson remains jailed in the Whitley County Detention Center under a $7,500 surety bond.
She faces charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense, and prescription controlled substance not in the original container, first offense.
