Officers from the Laurel County Sheriff’s office recovered more than 2,000 square feet of stolen hardwood flooring and arrested a Laurel County man in connection to the stolen properties on Monday.
Rodney Jones of Riverside Loop was arrested and charged on a felony warrant and related stolen property charges.
According to the sheriff’s department, a number of burglary and theft cases have been taking place in the Lily area. Laurel County deputies are continuing an investigation into the complaints in the area.
The stolen property that was recovered on Monday was returned to the victim.
