Before his jury trial begins on March 26, a suppression hearing for James Ambers Walters will take place that same morning.
The defense attorney for Walters said that police entered and searched his home without properly obtaining a warrant.
Walters, of Corbin, was indicted in August 2005 on charges of rape and incest. He was charged with two counts of first-degree rape for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with a female through the use of forcible compulsion on June 6 and June 7, 2005. He also faces two counts of incest for incidents that allegedly occurred on the same dates.
