Animal shelter gives thanks

TIMES TRIBUNE (CORBIN, Ky.)

CORBIN — The Knox Whitley Animal Shelter had the 6th annual 5K Run/Walk for Homeless Animals on Saturday, Sept. 21. Even though it poured rain, we still had a great turnout and lots of fun!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and showed support for the cause. Your support really does make a difference by helping us save lives. A special thank you goes to our sponsors, Angie Singley and the Allergy Asthma Sinus Center, FK Perkins, Mary Ann Smyth Attorney at law, Owens, Forcht bank, Tri County Cineplex, Tom Blair State Farm, Community Trust Bank, Bingham Tire & Oil, Brentwood Pharmacy, Mike’s Mini Barns, Maiden Drug, David’s Steakhouse, Dr. Tammy and Mark Smith/Knox County Vet Services, and Dr. Castle/Tri County Vet Services.

We look forward to doing it again next year! Thank you all so much again for helping us give homeless animals a chance to find a permanent, loving home.
