An athiest should read the Bible

TheTimesTribune.com, Corbin, KY

CORBIN — Atheism: A religion that denies the existence of God.

It is human nature to worship something. If it isn’t God the father you worship it must be and always is something else. Atheist, discover what it is you love the most and are willing to sacrifice everything for — that is your idol of worship.

To address my letter to the editor published May 10, you should understand those who are atheist and those who worship God the father speak two different languages.

For an atheist to understand my letter, you must be willing to subject yourself to the King James Version of the Bible. I recommend you read it starting at Genesis chapter 1 and verse 1 and don’t stop until you have read through Revelation chapter 22 and verse 21. After you read all of The KJV Bible without skipping over anything, complete it two more times.

Upon completion of this task you may have a fundamental foundation of the universe! Everything that you are and everything that you will be is in the pages of the word of God the father. Until the atheist understands what the child of God the father understands, any communication is unpalatable where it concerns fate, faith and eternity.

Exodus 34:14 reads, “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”

The key word in this verse is “worship.” The child who worships God the father understands this means love God the father. A child who loves God the father as he loves his children can expect blessing to follow.

Psalms 23:5 reads, “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”

Oh, by the way, Justin Eslinger, your view of history is revisionist at best.
