Teacher appreciates former NFL player’s Sept. 18 presentation

CORBIN — I would like to thank Andy Croley, Jerry Croley and former NFL player Clayton Holmes for sharing their “Win 1 Way and Win Drug Free” program at Williamsburg Independent School on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

The program was great, motivating and interesting to students of all ages. The message was simple: grow to be positive members of society. Students need to control their own outcome, rise above the difficulties and trials of life and become someone they can be proud of.

Thanks again for the positive impact that you made on the students of Williamsburg Independent School.

Meg Judd,

4th & 5th Grade Teacher and Math Specialist

  • Our representatives should co-sponor the PAST Act

As a horse lover and Kentuckian, I support H.R. 1518/S. 1406, the PAST Act, which will reform the federal Horse Protection Act to end the abusive practice of soring walking horses for the sake of an exaggerated and grotesque gait.
