We can’t approve sin as a lifestyle

CORBIN — Homophobia is an irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals.

Please understand God loves you as a person. It is the sexual act that God finds an abomination. If God is a homophobe then all the children of God the father must follow along without question. To be fair, if you can persuade God to accept homosexuality as a lifestyle then so will the rest of the world. People who claim to be Christian who say it’s OK to be homosexual as a lifestyle are confused about what it means to be Christian.

When you ask a child of God to accept the homosexual lifestyle you are asking the child to choose between God and the lifestyle. It is the same with any sin listed in the Bible. A child of God cannot accept adultery, theft, worship of another god, bestiality, murder, rape, child molestation and the list of other sins too long to be listed here. However, if you wish to know them all just read Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy and Judges 19-20. There are many other places where sin is condemned and the methods required by God to be resolved of each sin.

The point of forgiveness is that God understands there will be sin. Even the Pope can sin and be judged by God. Please don’t think just because a child of God is faithful, reads the Bible and loves God, that the child is sinless. We ask for forgiveness every day. The one thing we can’t do is approve any sin as a life style.
