McNeel thanks Corbin for support

To the Corbin community:

Thank you for making the recent grand opening celebration for Corbin Primary School a huge success. We appreciate the many positive comments you made about the facility.

There were approximately 600 people attending the official ceremony in the gymnasium and an additional 200 people touring the building but not attending the program. I believe that everyone, young and old, was highly impressed with the school and the positive impact it will have for the future of Corbin.

The new school evolved from a vision held by members of the Corbin Board of Education and became a reality with your support. You, the community, allowed the school district to obtain the financial resources to complete this project and to address over-crowded buildings caused by growth in student enrollment. As our educational partner, you have helped continue the tradition of excellence for all Corbin students.

Corbin Primary School will serve over 600 primary students as well as providing a venue for community activities, such as local clubs holding special events, various sporting activities, community meetings, etc.

The Corbin community has an innovative new facility that was “designed for learning.” Please contact staff at 606-523-3638 to arrange for a visit to Corbin Primary School at 3551 Fifth Street Road.
