Corbin Primary celebrates Presidents’ Day

The Times-Tribune

CORBIN — By Jeff Noble, Staff Writer

Every President of the United States stopped by Corbin Primary School’s gymnasium Tuesday.

Once they lined up inside, the Chief Executives told visitors about their time in the White House during the school’s celebration of Presidents’ Day.

After the presidents went inside the gym, they held up a sign listing some accomplishments during their administration, and even talked to visitors.

“For today, this gym is actually a wax museum, and each student is portraying a president. They’ve researched the president they’re playing and looked at their facts while in office. When you walk over to them, you push their button and they’ll tell you who they are and mention three facts about the president they’re playing. These guys and gals have worked very hard in their presentation,” said Ramey.

Dilbeck added the entire 2nd Grade worked on playing the presidents, with about 220-230 students involved with the celebration (and between 60-70 students on the floor with the presentation of the wax museum).
