Halloween in the Tri-County

Below are listings of Trick-or-Treat hours, Trunk-or-Treat events, Haunted Houses, Ghost Tours and Fall Festivals that can be found here in the Tri-County this Halloween season!


Corbin: Wednesday, Oct. 31: 3-5 p.m. Downtown, 6-8 p.m. city/wide.

Williamsburg/Whitley County: Wednesday, Oct. 31: 5:30-7:30p.m.

Barbourville Fright Night (includes all of Knox County): Tuesday, Oct. 30: 5:30-7:30. Includes entertainment by Remix at 5 p.m. in front of the courthouse.

London/Laurel County: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Downtown London: 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.


Cumberland Valley Electric at 6219 U.S. Hwy 25E in Gray is giving away free Trick-or-Treat bags. Stop by anytime during office hours.


Gerry’s Roller Rink on Falls Hwy in Corbin is having free skating  from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Come in costume and get a free drink. Includes games and treat bags for all skaters. Call 523-0567.


Corbin Ghost Tour

The Corbin Public Library and the Corbin Main Street Program are sponsoring a “Ghost Tour Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25-27, from 6-9 p.m. nightly starting at the library. Admission is free. Possible inclusions in the tour are the old Hippodrome site, the Hall-Watson building, which once housed a hospital, the home of Corbin Mayor Willard McBurney, and other historic locations in the downtown area. Flatline Paranormal Ghost Tours

Flatline Paranormal Investigators will host 30-minute ghost tours beginning at 11:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through October at the Mountain View Lodge. Includes the use of paranormal ghost hunting equipment.

Haunted Trail

- Located at Whitley Gardens by Corbin Speedway and McKeehan Crossing

Open Friday & Saturday through Halloween and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Halloween week from 8 p.m. until the last customer is scared to death. $10 person.

Echo Valley Tour of Hell

Echo Valley Church of God presents “Tour of Hell” from 7-10 p.m. nightly, Oct. 19, 20, 26, and 31. No charge. Non-perishable food items accepted for the church food pantry. Call 309-9753.

River’s Edge Escape from Hell

River’s Edge Church presents Escape from Hell beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Call 523-2064 for group rates.

A Haunting on 904

Open 8 to 1 a.m. 19, 20, 26, 27 Fridays and Saturdays. Proceeds go to Williamsburg Girls Basketball team. Adults 10 students 12 and under $6 Take exit 11 turn left go past Cumberland Regional Mall, take right at the light onto 92E, go 6 miles, turn right on Hwy 904, go 2 ½ miles to Siler Cemetery Road on left (to the home of Lisa Ponder) – Look for signs.

Haunted Campground of Pine Mountain

Presented by Main Street Pineville and Pine Mountain State Resort Park. $8 for all ages. 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 Contact: 606-337-3066.

According to the park, legend says the original campground was closed 13 years ago following a “mysterious incident.” The park is reopening the campground for those who are brave enough to face the unknown terror that lurks in the dark.

The “haunting” tours begin at dusk and continue until midnight. Admission for all ages is $8.00.

On Saturday, October 27, Pine Mountain will host a Halloween Ball from 7 p.m. to midnight.

The ball will feature dance music with a DJ and a costume contest. Prizes will include an overnight stay, dinner for two, or golf for two.

Admission for the ball is $15 per single or $25 per couple. Space is limited so advance reservations are recommended.

The Terror Squad

Put on by the London-Laurel County Rescue Squad

At the old rescue squad building in downtown London, adjacent to the London Fire Department and the Farmer’s Market. Oct. 19, 20, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31. Haunting begins at 8 p.m. nightly. Cost is $10 per person.

Spooky Camp Week

Levi Jackson State Park presents Spooky Camp Week, Oct. 20-22. Camping among the ghosts and goblins, beautiful sights of fall decorations, costume contests and trick-or-treating are all part of the Halloween festivities at Levi Jackson State Park. Nightly activities will lead up to a chili cook-off and chili supper on Friday evening. Hayrides, crafts, games, haunted events and other contests are planned for the big and little goblins. Prizes for decorated campsites include best autumn, animated, most creative, and scariest. This event is for campers only. Call the park for more information at 606-330-2130.

Haunted Mtn. View Lodge

Lynn Camp High School Seniors will present the Mountain View Lodge Haunted House from 7:30-11:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through October. Admission is $10. Call 528-5429.

Flat Line Paranormal will be hosting group ghost tours at the end of the night. If you purchase a ticket to the haunted house you will receive a discount for the tour.


First Baptist Church Trunk-or-Treat

First Baptist Church, located on North Laurel Avenue across from Corbin Post Office, will be having Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 6-7 p.m. at the church. Kids of all ages are invited to wear their costumes and walk trunk to trunk collecting candy. There will also be games and prizes. For more information, call 528-4738.

Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Trunk-or-Treat

Calvary Missionary Baptist Church will have a Trunk-or-Treat from  5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Call 344-3776.

Main Street Baptist Church Trunk-or-Treat

Main Street Baptist Church in Williamsburg will have Trunk-or-Treat from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Call 549-2006.

Echo Valley Trunk-or-Treat

Echo Valley Church of God will have a Trunk-or-Treat at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Call 309-9753.

Faith Assembly Trunk-or-Treat

Faith Assembly of God will hold a Light the Night carnival from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Includes trunk-or-treat and carnival games. Call 864-9422.

New Hope Ministries Trunk-or-Treat

New Hope Ministries will have a Fall Festival beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Includes Trunk-or-Treat, Bluegrass music, costume competition and a chili/ soup cookoff. Call 528-5575.

Corinth Trunk-or-Treat

Corinth Missionary Baptist Church will have Trunk-or-Treat from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Fun and games offered inside afterwards. Call 528-3009.

Hopewell Baptist Church Trunk-or-Treat

Hopewell Baptist Church will have Trunk-or-Treat from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. There will be a contest for best decorated trunk and best costume. The first 100 children to show up will receive a free treat bag to collect candy. There will also be games and prizes. Call 606-523-9424.


Oak Grove Fall Festival

Oak Grove Baptist Church will have a Fall Festival from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct 20. Includes hayrides, games, cake auction at 4 p.m. Call 523-5355.

Halloween Party

Corbin Presbyterian Church will host a community Halloween Party from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Costumes welcome. Everything is free. Includes food, games and candy. Call 528-1444.

Steele’s Chapel Fall Festival

Steele’s Chapel Christian Church’s Fall Festival will be from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28. Includes hayrides, games, food. Everything is free. Call 523-8181.
