Branson, Mo. entertainer Dave Ehlert is coming back to the Corbin Technology Center at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17.
This time he will be presenting Abraham Lincoln and Mark Twain and sharing their views of Civil War Days.
150 tickets at $25 each are being sold for the event which will consist of a catered dinner followed by Ehlert’s theatrical performance. The event is sponsored by Friends of the Corbin Library, and all proceeds earned will fund needs of the Corbin Library. People who bought a membership to Friends of the Corbin Library for 2013 will be given a 20 percent discount on their tickets.
“We are very happy that Dave is bringing another of his famous Branson shows on the road, giving us the opportunity to see it,” said Rob Miller, Friends of the Corbin Public Library. “We heard only glowing reviews from people who saw his Mark Twain act two years ago and his Elvis and Friends act last year. Abe Lincoln, Mark Twain and the Civil War is a completely different theatrical performance presented by the extremely talented impersonator. Tickets are just $25 which is a very cheap price for dinner catered by David’s Steakhouse and a show of this caliber. It’s a win-win situation: You get to enjoy a great dinner and a special show and support the Corbin Library too!”
