A taste of Corbin

CORBIN — To find Tuesday evening’s “A Taste of the Market” in downtown Corbin, all you had to do is follow your nose. If you did, the wafting aroma of fresh meats and produce tantalized hundreds of people who took in some grilled kabobs, vegetables and other fresh-made foods at the event, held at the Whitley County Farmers’ Market in Corbin.

Vendor and volunteer “Chef” Brad Meredith checked the big grill loaded down with beef, pork, lamb, and several vegetables, with the kabobs put on skewers making them easy to eat.

From the looks of the crowd on hand, ‘The Taste’ — sponsored by the Whitley Farmers Market and Downtown Corbin — hit the spot.
