2009 Knox County Fair

June 9-13

Tuesday–Friday: 5 p.m.-11 p.m.

Saturday: 1 p.m.-11 p.m.

Schedule of Events

Today

9 a.m.-4 p.m. — Vendor set-up

4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. — Mix 96-Live broadcast

5 p.m.-11 p.m. — Carnival, vendor exhibits, bingo, Eudora Farms petting zoo, and live music

6 p.m. — talent show (Forcht Bank)

7 p.m. — Corn Hole Tournament (National City/Mix 96)

8 p.m. — ATV/Motorcycle Drag-B&M Racing

Wednesday

5 p.m.-11 p.m. — carnival, vendor exhibits, bingo, Eudora Farms petting zoo, live music

6 p.m. — Pageant/baby show: Tiny Miss & Mister, and Petite Miss

7 p.m. — 3-on-3 basketball (Union College)

8 p.m. — Truck pull (B&M Racing)

Thursday

10 a.m.-2 p.m. — County Fair entries accepted

12 p.m.-2 p.m. — Baking contest entries accepted

2:30 p.m. — Baking contest judging

3 p.m. — County Fair entries judged

5 p.m.-11 p.m. — Vendor exhibits, carnival, bingo, Eudora Farms petting zoo, live music, animal shelter unit

5 p.m. — Goat show

6 p.m. — Dog show

8 p.m. — Truck Tug-a-War (B&M Racing)

Friday

5 p.m.-8 p.m. — Farmer’s Market

5 p.m.-9 p.m. — Bluegrass Festival

5 p.m.-11 p.m. — Carnival, vendor exhibits, County Fair exhibits, bingo, Eudora Farms petting zoo, live music, Pageant: Little Miss & Mister, Preteen, Teen, & Miss, horse show

Saturday

8 a.m. — Walk/run

10 a.m. — Bluegrass Festival, car show, Farmer’s Market, County Fair exhibits

1 p.m. — National Lawn Mower Race, carnival, bingo, Eudora Farms petting zoo, live music, vendor exhibits, Hillbilly Redneck Games (KD Country), Homer Lee Show, concert & youth rally (Knox County UNITE)

Sunday

1 p.m. — Finals of the National Lawn Mower Race
