Classic cars and trucks lined Main Street in Corbin Saturday as the sixth annual Cumberland Valley Cruise-in got underway.

David Landrum, one of the event’s organizers, expected approximately 300 people to register their vehicles by the end of the day.

“This is probably the best crowd we’ve ever had,” he said.

While some of the vehicles’ owners came from as far away as South Carolina, Landrum said most of the cars and trucks on display belonged to people likely familiar with Corbin.

“Most live within 50 miles of here,” he said.

The cruise-in will continue to held from 4 to 8 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month from now until October, with the exception of August because of a conflict with the Nibroc Festival.
